The advanced materials research and innovation hub, PRIMA Québec, leads and supports the advanced materials ecosystem by favoring collaborative innovation for the economic development of Quebec. As a sectoral industrial research group, it is the preferred catalyst between the industrial and research communities.
The Digital and Quantum Innovation Platform is a non-profit organization initiated by the University of Sherbrooke and the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy of Quebec in 2020. Its mission is to support organizations towards accelerated digital transformation, to increase collaboration and simplify technology transfer between industry and research, in addition to training the talents of tomorrow. The PINQ² platform, based on classical, hybrid and quantum digital solutions, is accessible to all Quebec companies and to all university academic networks and college technology transfer centers (CCTT).
Mission and objective of the partnership
The objective of the partnership between PRIMA Québec and PINQ² is to enable players in the Quebec advanced materials ecosystem to accelerate their digital transformation process thanks to the complementarity of their services and resources.
On the one hand, PINQ² accelerates the digital transformation of Quebec companies by supporting stakeholders to define the sought-after value, the related objectives and the roadmap to achieve them, supports them and gives them access to material resources to prototype and demonstrate the value sought after. On the other hand, PRIMA Québec supports companies and researchers in their innovation process, supports them financially, facilitates access to cutting-edge equipment while promoting players in the ecosystem.
